Books

Hellooo!!! The Internet, Skyeina here. So, today I'm reviewing one of my all time favs: The Gone Series. Only for those who can read long books because there are 6 books averaging about 600 pages each. My biggest achievement is reading the last 3 books in one day (I was on holiday poolside, so not much else to do). The series is actually how I met two of the best people in my life and without this book, we would have never become friends. Even though, we both teased our one friend who always tried to read it but just couldn't be bothered; I wanna point out I didn't spoil it for him but I did spoil the Divergent Series (that's for another post tho)

Skyeina: Gone Series Review

Honestly, one of the best books I have ever read; its a science friction whilst also being a mystery.

You're in class and your teacher disappears and you go investigate which leads you to see that everyone over 15 is gone. EVERYONE. Together you must work out what happened and as two worlds collide- upper and lower class- you find out in this world some people have a power, whereas some don't. Whether or not they know what it is or how to use it is the question. Imagine that all people over 15 years are gone, clearly, hell would break out.

Skyeina: Gone Series Review

Go on an adventure with Sam who has a major crush on the most intelligent girl (Astrid), another girl who is alone in the wilderness with the coyotes (Lena) and a couple of troublemakers who wish to rule and find love (Craine and Diana). But how will it run when Craine rules the private school and Sam makes the orders for the others. One good and one bad, but who will survive?

As the story in the books carries on with finding out different things they have to overcome. Each book more intense than the last.

Skyeina: Gone Series Review

Love, murder and powers, could you survive this world with no adults, doctors and the shortage of basic needs. How will this group of teenagers deal with ruling their own civilisation?

Oh, did I forget to mention you can't exit the dome or go beyond certain points and the outside world has no ideas what is actually going on? Will you uncover the dark secrets?

                     Blood Brothers Review

Hellooo!!! The Internet, Skyeina here. Today, I'm reviewing the play 'Blood brothers'. Social Class, Family drama and superstition. What more could you want in a play??? The story takes place in Liverpool 1980's when Marget Thatcher was Prime Minster. I've read the play and it's gorgeously written from beginning to end.

On Monday night, I went to see the play with my family. The audience went from crying of laughter to pure crying. It's about 2hr 30mins long and you follow the life of the Johnstone twins separated at birth; one in a rich family the other in a crowded poor family.

But once destiny gets involved things change and end up how it was always post to be...

Let me know what other posts you want me to do in the comments.

Beautiful Creatures Review

Hellooo!!! The Internet, Skyeina here. Today, I'm blogging about one of my favorite romantic fantasy series. By the way only read the first description if you don't want spoilers.

This series is in an old town of Gatlin in America. The book is spoken from the point of view of a young boy ,Ethan Wate, who falls in love with a girl, Lena Duchannes. But she has a deadly secret could it ruin their relationship.

The girl with green eyes and black hair is not an ordinary girl like the others and gets bullied. Will Ethan choose her or his best friends and be popular??? Things get all confusing when Lena's cousin (Ridley) comes to town all when her rebel hair and eyes that could kill. She can control people and can't wait to control Lena's life and turn it upside down. Beside from that Link (Ethan's best friend) is falling for Ridley and she is playing him  and giving him everything he wants. Lena's mother comes to make Lena choose evil and be with her and Ridley.

In the second book, a new girl (Olivia) comes and shakes things up and Lena runs away leaving Ethan with a new British girl who is like his mother in every way. They try to find Lena but when they do Ethan wishes he never did and Lena changes everything.

In the third book:

Link is a bloodsucker.
Ridley is not a siren.
Liv is staying away from Lena and falls for a hybrid who wants to die.
Lena is an evil and good caster.
Ethan is slowly dying and has to make a choice to live or to die.

In the final book, after Ethan's death, he tries getting back to his love but some things are just post to be dead. After all, they have been through will this be the end or only the beginning???

An Inspector Calls Review

The play is called ‘an inspector calls’ is by the author J.B Priestley. The play is about a police inspector coming to question a rich family of the recent suicide. The play starts with a lovely dinner which turns into a night the family won’t forget. All have secrets that they tried to hide catch up with them. The play has gripping tension from start to finish, which hooks the audience. I would say it is a play to read, at first I found it weird to read as it’s a script.

We Were Liars Review

We Were Liars is a book by the very talented author E.Lockhart. The story takes place on a summer island of which the White American Sinclair family owns, their rich, beautiful and smart until the accident. The story is narrated by Cadence Sinclair Eastman who is trying to remember what happened in summer fifteen. As the summer goes by her and the liars start to help her remember.
Tragic, love, and broken story with a shock twist end.
I came across reading it by the review by Zoella for her book club. I would say more but it’s a book you need to read for yourself.

All The Bright Places Review

Hellooo!!! The Internet, Skyeina here. Today, I'm blogging about the book called All the Bright Places. All the Bright Places is by the author Jennifer Niven. The book begins with the two main characters- Violet and Finch- on the ledge of the bell tower at school. Finch is trying to stay Awake and not go to the Asleep whilst Violet is trying to become herself before the accident. They do a geography project together and wander, which brings them together.
Absolutely amazing with heartbreak, tears and humour.
The reason I love it so much is because I have an understanding of Finch when he makes a new Finch.  This is a result of me also being a different person every week such as Skye Waldorf or Skye Gilmore etc. All the Bright Places is an all rounded book and a must read.
LOTS OF LOVE,
