Blogmas Day 3 - Naked Heat Review

Hellooo!!! The Internet, Skyeina here. If you follow my youtube channel you would know that I recently purchased the Naked Heat palette by Urban Decay. The only other Naked palette I have is the Naked 3 palette which I have done a review go check that out- little self-promo - but the question I get asked is, it is worth the hype?

What I can tell you is if you love warm tones as much as me you will 100% love this palette. It's highly pigmented, beautifully blends and honestly is just damn amazing.

The Colours-

When you look at the palette it screams red but not a normal scream, a melodramatic scream much like mine when I see a sale on makeup. The colours do seem a little daunting at first especially if you're new at makeup. However, with a few tips and tricks, you will be on the right way.

Firstly, I recommend dipping your toes in don't full on dive- by this I mean do the one colour. Preferably, one of the middle colours; they give you enough colour to start but not too much it makes you look as you have an eye infection or forgot Halloween is over.

Secondly, if you're feeling a bit more confident try three colours: one for the crease, outer corner and inner corner. This creates depth, for the inner corner use one of the lighter ones, for the crease use one of the middles and for the outer use one of the darker ones.

The Price-

Honestly, what more could you expect from Urban Decay other than expensive? It is an amazing palette, however, there are some palettes almost as good, such as Makeup Revolution x Soph palette or the Nyx Warm Neutral Ulitmate palette. There are many alternatives that are drugstore but saying this nothing really compares to the Naked palettes. I'm sorry I just had to say it.

The Shades-

To be honest, I can hardly say the names or hardly spell them too.

Ounce- pearlized white

Chaser- matte flesh tone with a hint of warmth

Sauced- matte light coffee with red undertone

Low Blow- matte coffee with yellow undertone

Lumbre- copper shimmer with red tint
