Books - 13 Days of Midnight Review - Leo Hunt

Mystery, supernatural and murderous ghosts, what else do you want? Maybe some spells, the Devil and a brewing romance? Yep, it's got that too.

Enter the word of Luke Manchett, a popular kid whom of course plays football with an abanded dad and a mum who is in too much pain to take care of him. Obviously, there's the girl he always wanted, Holiday, but then his dad dies leaving him £6 million. Can't get better than that?

Wait, did I forget to add the eight murderous ghosts that are after him, his mother and his new-found friend: Elza whom everyone thinks is a freak. I would feel slightly crazy if I could see ghosts too, hun.

Luke has 13 days till Halloween till the ghosts will kill him and sent him to the devil so the ghosts will be free of the host and let leach into the world as we know it. If they are freed many thousands would die, you know only a bit of world's population. Luke finds out about his father and his rather evil past as a necromancer.

Will Luke survive or will the ghosts be set free on Halloween night?

One of the most intriguing, plot-twisting books I've ever read, I will defiantly be reading more of Leo Hunt. My all-time favourite character is the dog, 'Ham' is such a coward of a dog but soo funny. The book is full of suspense yet darkly hilarious, something different and 100% would recommend. Just read it.

How far will Elza go to protect Luke? After all, they have done, can Luke trust Vessel and the Judge?
We'll let the jury decide.
